Dental Implant Post-Surgery Care Guide

The first day is the most critical for healing. Here’s what to do:

  • Rest and Relax: Avoid strenuous activities and get plenty of rest.

  • Manage Swelling: Apply an ice pack to the outside of your cheek for 15 minutes at a time.

  • Eat Soft Foods: Stick to liquids and soft foods like yogurt, soup, and smoothies.

The First Week: Promoting Healing

As you continue to heal, follow these guidelines:

  • Gentle Oral Hygiene: You can start to gently rinse your mouth with warm salt water after 24 hours. Avoid brushing the surgical site directly.

  • Avoid Smoking and Alcohol: These can significantly impair healing.

  • Take Prescribed Medications: Follow the instructions for any prescribed antibiotics or pain relievers.

Our comprehensive oral surgery and post-operative process are designed to ensure you have a comfortable and successful recovery.
