Are Dental Implants Painful? The Truth About the Procedure
One of the biggest concerns for patients considering dental implants is the potential for pain. The good news is that the implant procedure itself is virtually painless. At Elonix Dental Clinic, our priority is your comfort, and we use advanced techniques to ensure a smooth and gentle experience.

During the Implant Procedure
Thanks to effective local anesthesia, you won’t feel any pain during the surgery. Our expert oral surgeons ensure the area is completely numb. For patients with dental anxiety, we also offer sedation options to help you relax throughout the entire process.
After the Procedure: Managing Discomfort
It is normal to experience some mild discomfort, swelling, or soreness after the anesthesia wears off. However, this is temporary and can be easily managed.
Over-the-counter pain relievers are usually sufficient.
Applying an ice pack to the area can reduce swelling.
Sticking to a soft food diet for a few days is recommended.
At Elonix Dental Clinic, we are dedicated to making your dental implant experience as comfortable as possible.
